Find Books
Research in the medical and health fields is generally considered journal-driven, meaning that the most current (and therefore valuable) literature, information, and evidence for practice is found in journals rather than books; however, books can still be an important source of information. UNC has millions of books and book chapters available for immediate access online. Whether you are an on-campus or online student, if there is a book you need, the Libraries will help you locate the book in our collections or from another collection to ensure you have access.
