Find Statistics & Data
"There are three kinds of lies: lies, damned lies, and statistics."   --Mark Twain
Statistics and data can give context to a topic or issue, offer evidence to support a claim, find trends in large data sets, and much more. It is very important, when using statistics to not overgeneralize and to not draw conclusions about causality or correlation that may not exist.

Create Infographics
It is common to see statistics offered for public consumption through infographics. Some professors assign the creation of an infographic instead of a paper. The library research process is the same - searching, finding, retrieving, reading, analyzing, and citing reliable sources for information. The end product is meant to present information in a clear and concise manner that is easy to consume. Below are several free tools for creating infographics.
