In Mari Michener Gallery:

Archival Degradation

The Mari Michener Gallery is pleased to present Archival Degradation, a solo exhibition by Art and Design student, Macey Boren. This body of work confronts the normalization of sexual violence in Western Art, interrogating deeply ingrained paradigms of misogyny, in which men are the arbiters of great art and women are the mere objects they use to create it. This exhibition is presented in collaboration with the Assault Survivors Advocacy Program (ASAP).
