SciFinder is a research discovery tool that allows you to explore the Chemical Abstracts Services (CAS) databases. Chemical Abstracts is the best source of chemical patent information. CA indexes patents from 150 countries in all areas of chemical science.

To access Scifinder via Web, follow these steps:

 1. You MUST first register with SciFinder to use this resource. Create your free individual registration first by clicking here (off-campus) or here (on-campus).  

 2. Now log in to the SciFinder database:  (on-campus user) or, log in to SciFinder database: (off-campus user).
