Hydraulic Fracturing or Fracking Information: For Fracking

This study from MIT by Moniz found that the increasing use of natural gas instead of coal plants can cut down on greenhouse gas emissions. Moniz also added that the challenge of mitigating risks from drilling can be met only with help from energy companies.

This report from the Center for Strategic & International Studies, a bipartisan think tank, endorses the development of natural gas resources, but frankly delineates the environmental challenges and supports enhanced regulations.
