Reference sources provide a good starting place for your research. They can provide definitions, context, and historical and theoretical background on your topic. The library has reference sources available both in print and online.
The print reference section is located in the southwest corner on the first floor of Michener Library. Materials in this section are limited to use in the building and cannot be checked out.
To locate these books in the catalog, limit your search by location in the sidebar. Select "Mich Ref" for the Michener reference section.
There are also reference books located in the general collection for checkout. You can locate these by adding terms like "encyclopedia," "handbook," "dictionary," or "guide" to your keyword search.
