Paul W. Stewart is the founder of the Black American West Museum and Heritage Center in Denver, Colorado. Michener Library is fortunate to have acquired his unique collection of books related to African American history.

The Archive Section of the Paul Stewart Collection is available for use on the premises, and is accessible only when the Archives Department is open, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. 

The Open Section of the Paul Stewart Collection is located in the general stacks of Michener Library and is available all hours the library is open, till midnight Sunday through Thursday and until 6 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays during the regular school year.
