Archives West provides access to descriptions of primary sources in the western United States, including correspondence, diaries or photographs. Digital reproductions of the materials are available in some cases.
The Western History Collection at the Denver Public Library is recognized as one of the most significant collections of Western Americana in the country. The collection reflects all phases of development of the trans-Mississippi West, with strong focus on the Rocky Mountain West.
The Hazel E. Johnson Research Center features an outstanding collection of historical documents and photographs. The center also has oral history interviews and transcriptions, videos, letters, diaries and other resources about pioneer families, businesses and communities in northeastern Colorado.
UNC Archives & Special Collections, located on the lower level of Michener Library, houses the University Archives, a variety of special manuscript and book collections, and the James A. Michener Collection.
