As we wrap up the academic year and celebrate our graduating students, we are pleased to highlight our exhibits from this year and our plans for the fall. This year Michener Library turns 50 years old, and we are seeking your memories and stories to include in our Fall 2022 exhibit. We ended the academic year with a Peeps diorama contest. Yes, those yellow and pink marshmallowy confections of chicks and bunnies make for excellent art and recreation!

Other articles featured in this issue include a student spotlight on Nikaiya Lawson, a junior Studio Art major who is set to curate an exhibit in the fall of 2022 called Black is Punk, and a summary from one Libraries faculty member on what she heard from students and faculty on her sabbatical focused on open educational resources and textbook affordability. The quotes from students, some saying how they need to choose between paying rent, getting food or gas, or buying textbooks, demonstrate the importance of making textbooks, and education, affordable.

We have a lot planned for the next academic year so stay tuned!
